Video - Walking Street Quintet

Now, this is more an experimental one, it's free to all video patrons.

Watch or Download (12 min)

Five girls walking along the street. It shows 4 new girls, created with the newest Genesis 8.1 figure. I needed to make a complete new muscle bulge script overhaul for this figure.
I'm still not 100% satisfied regarding the thigh flexing and some other parts, but will be improved over time. A main part coding I put on the new abs flexing while walking (was never there before in this way), trying to get near to real. Maybe you want to focus a little on it ;-)

Thanks for your constructive critism. I could now write a detailed answer about pathetic life of a lonesome game developer and the demons he has to fight against, but it would take many pages of text. ;-) Instead I will pick up some points and answer in tabular form, not to loose the overview. 1. No one has modeled any faces or figures for VR-Amazons. These are standard figures from DAZ, using morphs to get them as they are. A talented modeler would cost me 4 times the gross income monthly I have with VR-Amazons. 2. Lets take AAA games, like Skyrim or Fallout. With hundreds or up to 1000 specialists, working on one game. Most have just small specialized parts working on, some do just faces the whole day, others the bodies, others just animations, 8 hours a day, their whole life. And what is the result? Ugly faces ;-) and it needs many enthuastic modders to get them beautiful. 3. Elena: Is the first girl I've implemented in cooperation with Tigersan. We put a gigantic amount of work on her, It took weeks to get her right in the game engine. Tigersan and me had to tweak a lot on textures / maps to get her where she is now. What worked good in his Software, it didn't in the game engine. Same with the march preview, rendered with a completely different software and render engine. 4. This is the second video I rendered with the new HD Render Pipeline from Unity. I still have to learn to use it right. I developed the new girls in Standard Render Pipeline, and testet them in VR, where the faces looked quite good. Porting them to HDRP needed to re-texture them and tweak a lot again. Again, still learning. Also light wasn't too good, I wanted to get a backlight silhoutte effect. 5. Now here are coming part of my demons, … and your part, writing a critism ;-) As a one guy developer, you often get focused on what you are currently working on and overlook other parts. I think it's called, „operational blindness“. In a gaming studio you can always call a collegue who shall take a look on your work. He / she then sees issues, you weren't aware, well, because you were working so long on an other part. 6. Veronique and Elena are my favourites too, they have a very feminine facial look, but you must be aware, many muscle girl fans out there, that like the masculine look. And I did a poll on my other Patreon channel, where a majority prefer being overpowered by the girl regarding XXX. Not too much difference though. 7. Yes, it was planned to make the next XXX scene anyway, so why I shouln't take Veronique? ;-)

OK, fair warning: This super-long post may come across as a bit harsh at times, but please understand that the following comes from a position of love and wants to be constructive, while still taking the liberty to be blunt at times where it was deemed necessary to drive the related point home: Parts of this look promising, but you weren't kidding about the fact that improvements are needed. It is quite obvious that you still have a lot of work ahead of you. And you really, really need to do something about those faces. I've noticed this since I first started supporting you and at first I was hoping those were just work-in-progress, but the more I see, the more I come to the conclusion that face modeling maybe just isn't your strong suit. I mean, there are 5 girls in this and the only one not new - Elena - is once more the only one that looks like an actual human being (apart from the fact that some lighting issue makes her face appear in a different skin color than the rest of her), while the others look incredibly artificial. Not equally, there is variation of course, ranging from "going in the right direction..." with (counting from left to right) #1 and #4 to "what planet do they come from?" with #3 and #5). Those issues are plaguing a lot of characters so far, not just the ones here. It's not just the shape of the faces, with a tendency towards overly exaggerated cheekbones. Or the weird texture materials that make the skin of some characters look like shiny plastic (sometimes on the entire body and sometimes just on the face alone). It's also the eyes. They quite often appear somehow almost comically googly, because they are either too large to begin with or just opened too wide. In other cases they somehow appear "cold and dead", though I can't put my finger on it why. And in the worst cases, both detrimental aspects apply at the same time. The weird thing is that things were actually looking really promising before this. While Elena remains the gold standard, Veronique quickly rose to 2nd place on my favorite list (just some issues with hair transparency that makes her entire skull visible and, again, the eyes being opened a bit too wide in some occasions). I actually can't wait for a VR XXX scene with her, similar to the one with Elena, but preferably non-dom (not my cup of tea, I adore strong girls who use their power responsibly, to impress and to inspire awe, but not to humiliate). That VR Gym experience was really nice mostly because of Veronique, so thumbs up for that one (even though it had a downside too: Dreamgirl's face was more of a nightmare than a dream... appeared to be like made from plastic and also not very female). But I digress, the topic was promising progress, which also includes the previews from March 20th, which looked very good and seemed to go in the right direction when it comes to faces and textures. But compared to those promising developments, the new girls presented here seem like a giant step backwards, so I can't help but wonder what went wrong. Or was this simply due to the involvement of different artists? I still like what you're trying to achieve, which is why I still support you, but you really need to consider collaborating more with other artists who are really talented in the areas of face modeling and skin texturing to upgrade the plastic aliens in your portfolio so they can finally become beautiful, human females. And I also recommend focusing more on quality instead of quantity. One Elena is worth roughly 20 generic plastic dolls, one Veronique about 16, in my book at least.
