Behind The Scenes Special - The Money Transparency

I was thinking long time before writing this and making a decision or not.

It’s about, does Patreon still makes sense for an artistic creator. The answer for me is: Maybe ;-)

I open up, I give transparency so you can see my income by Patreon as of now.

There are 2 main problems in main, too many creators and Pirate sites.

1: As I began, 7 years ago, I had some income, nowadays, everyone who was doing something for free, is now on Patreon, no matter how terrible his / her creations are.
The subscriber now has so much choice, to whom should he give his hard earned money?

2:  Pirate sites, I’m on the main both sites. I am fighting them, it’s complicated and takes my time I could produce art instead.

Meanwhile I see pirate sites, not just as a DMCA problem, I see them as robbers and I will sue them, when I get them. They steel my money, worth, they even earn money with my for free distributed stuff.

My feeling is, and noone can take it away, if the pirate, went into my living room, sorry, noone wants a burgular in their private living room. The feeling is most.ugly and can change your life.

Why fighting this so much?

I  now got the numbers of the year 2022 by my accountant.

  1. Buying 3D models, ( props, clothing and hair) for my figures $100 / Month. I don’t use pirated stuff.
  2. Power costs $100 /month. (this is fuckkin true)
  3. Internet site, Cloud Space, etc, $80 /month
  4. Accounting costs 110/ / month
  5. Software costs, $70/ month
  6. Hardware costs, more than $ 100 / month (my current graphics card is $2000 and it's not enough to render all what I would like to)

Cross income by Patreon and Subscribestar currently about $500.- to $600.-/ month.

I spend currently 20-30 horus a week on creating muscle girl stuff, my wage is about 0 (Zero) ct an hour.

Now the best, I am belonging to the best 11% cross earners on Patreon.

The last half year I was living from few “serious” contract work and being supported additional by my state.

Meanwhile I think, the only making money / a living are a very, very, few creators , maybe 2 to 3% on Patreon, and sure Patreon it self.

So please understand me, when I won’t give up Patreon, but slow down. As a creator, you need to deliver regulary, for the money of subscribers., If you don't, subscribers leave. But working hard for nothing, doesn’t make much sense either.

I already gave up VR-Amazons, though at this time the cross revenue was nearly double, but no netto earnings either, because of higher costs and more work. And I’m thinking about, to give up the muscle stuff completely.

The only thing I still do it, is enthusiasm.

How about, I lower the subscription price, therefore there is no more stress delivering regular. Delivering regular is stress. I want to do so much, getting my girls better for example, I don’t have the time.

Oh, and one additional point against pirating. They think they are Robin Hood, take it from the rich, to give it to the poor . No, they don’t, they take it from the  poor, to give it to everyone, and earn big money by the work of others. They are simply parasites, and destroy small artist at the end.

And for all this writing I must apologize to all my honest subscribers, who keep me up. Thank You!

Thanks a lot for your understanding.
