VR Amazons Ends

Dear Patrons. VR Amazons comes to an end.

I know I said, it wil not. This was a time when I could earn some money and finance VR Amazons with other self employed jobs. VR Amazons never really financed itself by you dear patrons. It was always a cost factor or equal. It was my enthusasmn to go on further. Don't get ne wrong, you dear Patrons made it possible.

Honestly, my personal drive got lost, promoting and advertising like hell with no result. I'm on Google search in the top ten. Easy if you are the only.

But this tells me that there are only a limited number of interested parties. These with VR equipment and muscle girl fetish.

Meanwhile I'm broke. I'm aware I made lots of announcement in the past, always positive, it will go on. Well, now I need to give up.

And I mentioned it before, Patreon isn't what it was before. Newest numbers and statistics show me, new patrons subscribe and leave the same minute. Just to grab my years of work It's 30%. And hackers take over more.

I see more and more that people are complaining because something isn't free., the mentality seems to be changing. Creators and patforms have to pay their living too. Whats wrong?

I am aware, I was lazy the last month's regarding VR Amazons, and hoped all the guys  parking on the $1.- level will raise at least for one month to the 10$ level to get the newest version of VR Amazons. It didn't happen. About less than 10 % did it.

The only possibility i see at the moment, is to get more popular what is wanted, but at the same time, I would like to distinguish myself from others.  It is not good manners to compare yourself to others, but I'm not satisfied what I see on the market. It's ,I started creating my own handcrafted muscle girl modell.  The mass 3D comic creators all use everytihng out of the shelf. The stories are made for fast production, what fans usually want, deliver something every day. The Dialogs are flat, what muscle girl fetishists want to hear. The renderings are made easy with always the same lighting and cheap and fast render engine.

I don't want to jump on this train, I put much effort on my models (weeks and months handcrafting, not from the shelf), best renderings in high resolution, (I created my own skins, took me years, also for VR Amazons) thinking day and night about a good story, with  intelect and humor regarding the conversations. Oh, and run a 4000$ PC (Wihout periphry) to get these renderings done in time.

I know meanwhile, I might be a little different, but I have already a few new  dedicated fans supporting this style. I understand if you don't, but it's what makes my needed fun to go on further.

Oh, yeah it takes a little longer, to create such stuff. I can't produce this on an assembly line, I think it' s called artistic.

I know, many are more interetested in the happining (e.g. Much blood, throatlift, body scissors). Well, my Comics have it, but not only. (I like broken bones ;-) )

Now this was much to read, if you are still there, please tell me your opinion in the comments.

Thanks a lot
Bernie

Thanks for the long detailed comment. You wrote many things I need to think about. Reagarding the Bugfixing and Polishing, yes I can do this. I will add an announcement shortly. Starting the videos and comics, came in first case from the idea to get more patrons to get VR-Amazons better financed, and the fan base is raising for this comic stuff. What I didn't expect, it takes more time than thought. You know, one problem is, I like to work on VR-Amazons in the future, but on a more unregular base, see it more like a hobby. But Patreon is made to deliver on a regular basis, and there are understandable complains when this doesn't happen. (But heard also, that many creators get stress sick because of this). I will ask in the announcement, if there are any ideas, how to keep up VR-Amazons up on a lower level.

That is very sad to hear... and also disappointing. It is really unfortunate how the amount of 2-minute-subscribers and piracy can bring unique projects like this to its knees. These people never realize the destructive potential of their greedy selfishness. I mean, I get it if someone cannot afford something, because in that case a creator would never have seen money either way, but when one has the disposable income and still opts for theft or a grab-and-leave move even though they happen to like the content, that's beyond my limit of understanding. On the other hand, one can never know why someone subscribes for just once and then quits again, maybe they actually didn't like the content. That was the case for me multiple times with other creators: I subscribed because I was intrigued by teaser material, went through the available content to check out if it can hold up, was dissatisfied with it and thus cancelled shortly thereafter. Depending of how much stuff I got out of it that I actually did like a bit, I sometimes renewed one or two times before cancelling, though. But back to the VR topic now: Is there any chance us VR enthusiansts will see your work in other shape or form in the future? Maybe as exported models on the Virt-A-Mate marketplace? That seems to be a viable compromise to me. Not nearly as time-intensive as building your own games, but still capable of providing at least something for the VR crowd. Maybe you could collaborate with or even join their dev team. Version 2.0 might become infinitely better if you could bring your expertise on muscle movement animation scripting into the project. Just thinking out loud here. Also: What happens with the existing releases now? Will everything now stay forever in the current, quite broken state or are you aiming to publish at least a final round of wrap-up releases, to fix some of the most egregious bugs in the existing settings and smooth the experience over, to ensure they are at least future-proof enough to enable your trusting fans to keep on enjoying the old stuff for the foreseeable future? With no more content updates coming, those existing scenarios will now become your legacy, so should they not be at least somewhat more playable before being abandoned completely so they can hold up in the future? I mean, your entire Patreon is currently still structured around the VR work and that means a lot of people might stop by just to try the existing stuff out. Even if nothing new will be added, the existing releases are still a selling point because no one can get something like this anywhere else, so wouldn't it be fair to all these potential future supporters that they will get at least a product that can run on their systems as well as possible? And actually, that is even more important for a more tangible demographic: Everyone who, like me, was here on the higher tiers for months on end, not really interested in the comics and videos but patiently waiting for the next installment of VRA only to now realize that all subscription fees since the last release (which right now are two months worth of payments) were actually no longer funding what we were actually here for. Especially since you conveniently announced this right after the September subscription fees were already collected, I think it would only be fair to give at least a bit back in return. Plus, an announcement for a final round of polish & bugfixing releases for the most important settings might even keep the people in my tier around for a bit longer. I for one would be thrilled for a "Modern F06" that has the same stuff in it as the previous installments, just with fewer bugs (like disappearing walls and objects based on the players viewing angle, or the character falling through the world floor when changing cameras, thus necessitating to Alt-F4 and restart) and some of the suggested improvements to controls and camera settings that were suggested in the feedback for F05. Pretty please? I would definitely stay for that, as the Veronica scene is in my opinion the best thing you've ever created, with the Elena scene coming in right as a close second.

Thanks for the comments so far. Just want to say, I'm not away, the Patreon page remains and I use my many years of expierience to produce other 3D muscle girl stuff, as in the past.

Darn hate to see it come to an end but if you have to do it you have to do it. Really liked the vr amazons content as it filled a niche that nothing else did but I guess it was just too small to be sustainable. Still I hope it ends up working out for you.

Thank you, Bernie. It was a fun ride, and I greatly enjoy the VR content you produced. Although I will be sad that no more new content will be released, I understand that you must take care of yourself first and foremost, and am quite happy that you are doing so. You will be missed. So, once again, thank you so much for bringing this little slice of muscle girl heaven to my VR life, and take care.
