Regarding Comic Publication Frequency

Currently I try to distribute one comic part about once a week, but in my opinion it gets very fragmented. Why do I do it, because Patreon says, posting something once a week is good and patrons want it. For me the difficulty is, posting something takes time, time I could use creating new comic stuff.
Let's say I post Comic sequels just every 2 weeks, therefor longer sequels, is this OK?
But also, I post other things once a week, I need some variety, or I die ;-)
Do you think I'll lose supporters if I publish less often? It's about the comic series stuff. When I have an idea in between I make it and publish it, example Pin-Ups, BTS etc.
