[K-Drama] W: Two Worlds - Episode 1

And the poll winner is: W: Two Worlds!

I'll be reacting to this K-Drama from now on. I'm happy to watch some more Lee Jong Suk brilliance!

This was quite a "confusing" first episode that made me question a lot of things. So I did pause a bit. Also I apologize for forgetting to turn off the website T_T, I'll do it in the future. Still transitioning with all these new changes!

Have you finished reacting to this already?

Damn, they still got death penalty? That's crazy. Their law and punishment system seems so outdated with all of the stuff I know about it so far.. oh boy. Thanks for researching that though, good to know to what country I am wanting to move to lol

You're right about the last part, watching a lot of stuff at the same time might confuse me. Thanks for that input :) As for the content of the show, I really didn't realize that he built the tech company after he got out of prison. I thought he had already done that, oh well. That makes more sense xD I'll try and understand that the webtoon world is gonna be unrealistic, thanks!

It's been a while since I last time watched it, so it's pretty interesting to watch it along with you trying to recall the answers (spoilers) to your questions you asked during this 1st episode. And of course, it turned out that I forgot a lot of stuff. When you asked about death penalty, it also got me interested. Then, I searched for it and found out that it still exists and legal in SK. The most recent case was in 2019 when one man was sentenced to death for mass arson. Anyways, as Guthwulf said, there are gonna be lots of unrealistic things since the plot revolves around a webtoon. So, don't be surprised if something seems unexplainable. Answering to your after-reaction question: In my opinion, it would be better if you react to this kdrama twice per week, because I'm more interested in it than in web series.

It's surely gonna be on the next poll since it got so many votes this time, so there's a good chance it might :)

Oh no, it's totally fine. The breathing thing was just a one time occurrence. I probably just lied weirdly at night that time. I very much appreciate your concern though :) As for the web dramas: I thought I was just gonna watch two or three for idols I like, but you got a valid point.

Also, I would prefet two k-drama episodes for each week bc I find web dramas quite cringy, but it's just my own opinion so...I just hope you don't overwork yourself with these reactions. I was worried when you had breathing problem in previous reaction.

I chose reply1988 for the poll but this drama is also quite interesting:) I hope reply1988 can win the next poll because I haven't watched it yet and I like your reaction

This will be entertaining... its always so strange to me, where you see "plotholes" and what's confusing you... :D When he got arrested, he was no CEO... he was just a former star athlete and now prime murder suspect... he also had no bad lawyer... the prosecutor just saw a chance to make career convicting a celebrity... thats why he ignored every other information and went hard on Kang Chul demanding maximum penalty... Kang Chul build his tech company after he got out of prison (and after his suicide attempt)... And like you said: webtoons don't have to be "realistic". Thats the point (and fun) of it. Don't worry, the show will establish more rules and play with the scenario. I liked the show. Sadly it looses alot of steam in the last 3rd. So its not as good as it could've been. To your question: I would prefer for you to concentrate on fewer shows and produce more episodes per week for that. Less potential for you gettin confused, because of watching to much at once and with to big breaks in between episodes.
