The performances of the 1st Round so far were amazing. I also really like how they put in a lot of time for each group to show their proccess of training. This is usually my fav part of these types of shows and it turns out to be my fav here again.
So far I believe The Boyz did the best (once again), even though I was heavily biased towards iKON and iKON's stage was to me the most important and emotional. What are your thoughts / what is your order so far?

I imagine TBZ are pretty stressed right now with all the sunbae's competing. Not to forget SKZ which are one of the biggest Groups in New Gen and Ateez who managed to win a ton of prizes from international fans and already sold out a whole world tour a few months after debut. I think I'm just sad. I really hope to see all the Groups have fun on Kingdom and TBZ are the only ones I don't feel any fun vibes from at all.

2021-04-15 15:50:44 +0000 UTCI get your point with having fun on stage for TBZ and I guess they should definitely try that. Just mix things up. I was also shortly disappointed by them not doing something different and yet again going all in with the epic sets, ideas and moves. Then again, they pull those off so well and each stage is very unique and coherent to me. I don't mind it, although it can definitely get boring if they repeat a similar "style" over and over again. Buuut.. they probably think they stand no chance against the others if they don't do this. I think they just need to realize that sure, winning is great, but that Kingdom is like a big big music show to promote your skills and you have proven time and time again that you are insane performers, so just do something else. That I do agree on for sure!

I just said that as an iKON fan at their height and them becoming even more popular I was sad to see them fall and they were, as stats show (you can find them online - just look at sales for 2018), the only boygroup that was close to BTS that year and my whole point here was that I thought iKON would be able to compete with the big groups like BTS, EXO, Seventeen etc in 2019 and onward if their stuff didn't happen. EXO was one of the examples to describe how popular iKON was. I am aware that EXO sells still well when they comeback and surely Baekhyun does, but that wasn't my point. I'm fine with explaining stuff but you shouldn't get offended by something someone has as an opinion on and surely not about the numbers because they are facts everyone can look up. I didn't hate on EXO and it wasn't a lie because it's the facts, no need to get offended. Just spread love.

2021-04-15 15:44:16 +0000 UTCI understand your point, of course, Exo is not active as before because of the military service and I really love Ikon but I'm not a fan in fact I become your Patreon this month just to watch your reaction to this show because of Ikon But I don't actually know where the numbers you are talking about coming from? because as I know Ikon never got more physical sales than Exo even in 2018 and 2019 and even 2020 where even Exo soloists as for Baekhyun (the first soloist to sell million physical albums in more than 20 years) and 2021 before his military service he sells more than 900k physical album, Ikon digital sales is the best from the start I know about that. my point was that it's not a very good idea to compare a group that is doing their military service with groups that are active now... but anyway thanks for responding in a respectful way. <3

EXO didn't have as many releases anymore after 2017 and BTS' era kinda began with the award show wins and such. I am not biased towards either group, to me this was an objective fact. And the only boygroup that could battle with BTS on a regular basis in 2018 was iKON in my opinion, solely based on numbers of course. By numbers I mean digital sales, physical sales, award wins and brand reputation rankings (which are arguably not that important). Sorry if it offended you, but it was nothing personal^^

But I really don't know why are you comparing the popularity of the groups that are not here, like Exo is way less popular you said?? how did you know about that ?? Exo usually got 5 or 6 million views in 24 hours on their past videos but now even there solo got 10 million views in 24 hours and the group's video got more than 20 million in a day so maybe they don't get as much as Bts but they are way more popular than before... sorry for the long comment but I got offended.

2021-04-14 23:12:33 +0000 UTCBefore watching your Reaction in case it influences my opinion: BTOB was my favorite, they manged to both play to their strength and introduce exciting things to round out the performance. Also, their Stage was beautiful. iKON was my 2nd fav. Even though their Stage wasn't as impressive it was really fun. The Camera work sucked though. You should check out their Dance Practice! TBZ.... Let me just go and say, no hate to them but... When is the last time it seemed like they had fun performing? All I get from them is: let's just shove as many stunts, probs ec into every Performance because we have to win. I don't feel them, at all. The whole GoT A Song of ice and fire is an amazing idea but that + the hands+ the zombies + the fabric ec was just too much. It didn't feel like a cohesive performance with a good flow to me, at all. Idk it just felt really choppy and try hard to me. Bloombloom is my least favorite title track of theirs but I would have loved to see them have fun on stage.
