Due to me being a total pabo (meaning = idiot), I messed up the recording and stopped at some point in part 2, so I had to film a part 3 that was not intended T_T I hope this never happens again, anyway - here are the parts:

Oh good point actually, did not notice that. Yeah it's unfortunate.. I don't know what's wrong with the audio of episode 2. Because episode 1 on iqiyi had better audio I believe. And I even got the iqiyi premium service to watch it in 1080p there, but now they do me like that lmao.

2021-08-16 20:42:54 +0000 UTCJust leaving my comment to say that I don't mind the subtitles of the other website as a viewer but in terms of things that are subbed the ones on iqiy were definitely better, I noticed that when the Wow Thing unit performed, the subs where you watched didn't translate the text on screen, saying from which groups they were and stuff like that so you had to look it up yourself. Just a tiny issue with the subs on that site but I still think the better audio is worth it.

2021-08-16 19:47:06 +0000 UTCit really is a mystery, they definitely did not explain why you can vote for cells and individuals. they've only explained that it is cell based elimination. one possibility is they are keeping it vague for some big twist similar to the planet pass

It is a different philosophy, whether you have someone with experience to be a leader or throw them in the fire and see who becomes a leader.

It's either that or the individual votes will just create the ranking for the remaining girls and thus the new Top 9. And the Top 9 will probably get choosing benefits for the next round again or something.

If we don't have those leaders, some new trainees will become and grow into leaders if there is no one. Because a leader is always needed, that'd be a super fun experience and arguably even more growth than now. It could also be that people now rely on these experienced leaders too much to carry them/their cells. Idk, I think there's probably valid arguments for both sides

2021-08-16 12:51:03 +0000 UTCI'm pretty sure they explained the voting and how it works. the masters decide which group wins the competition, and thus getting 2x or 3x vote benefit. But the "planet guardians" aka us, vote on who should go to the next round. They are eliminating people by cell, he said 16 cells would be eliminated. So the 16 cells that have the least amount of votes will get eliminated. Actually the one thing that isn't clear, is why you can vote for individual girls when it is cell based elimination. My guess is it will work something like this. Where if your cell is part of a group that wins then you get the benefit for cell votes and your personal votes. The total vote is cell votes and individual member votes added up. B = benefit X1 = individual votes for member 1 X2 = individual votes for member 2 X3 = individual votes for member 3 C = cell votes (1*B) * (C + X1 + X2 + X3) = Total Score. Thus the lowest 16 total scores get eliminated, pending the "Planet Pass" to save you.

My guess is 4k/3c/2j or 5k/2c/2j Obviously we will have to wait and see, but I think "The Eve" team is basically a lock to win the First Mission. The two other groups doing bg songs are low to medium strength, and The Eve team has like 5-6 members who are favored to win the whole show and debut. They are an overpowered group to go up against. Kai's sister and Yujin will obviously get insane votes. But The Eve team has super popular members as well, plus they will have the 3x vote benefit. That team is too good to not win.

Especially in this cell dynamic, they can have a leadership role and help the trainees improve. It could bring up the quality of the eventual debut group from Girls Planet.

2021-08-16 01:23:32 +0000 UTCI can understand those who don't think it is fair for idols who are already in groups to compete, but there was nothing in the rules banning it. So people just have to live with it. If the trainees didn't want to compete against idols who've already debuted, they could have joined other survival shows that don't allow that situation. There is another survival show on MBC coming out fairly soon they could have auditioned for. Personally I am fine with fanatics, cherry bullet, etc competing. They are all not doing well or are just doing okay. I would feel differently if say Yeji or Yuqi randomly decided to compete in Girls Planet, at that point it is unfair and silly. Both are part of groups that have massive sales and huge fan bases, and there is no conceivable reason for them to join GP. Also on an unrelated note. I'm going to get crap for saying this, but I don't think Hikaru is that good. I would put her at like 12-13th place, definitely not number 1.

2021-08-16 01:18:39 +0000 UTCI can see what you're saying but we also have to face the facts: there's loads of people that are not Cheshire's and won't care about that situation, plus don't know her past. On top of that, 50 % of votes come from Korea, where CLC is basically invisible. So honestly, I don't think she shot herself in the foot here. It's risky, that's for sure. But now she at least got attention. If she didn't do that, she was probably worried her stage performance was not enough of a kickstart to be able to contest a top 9 final finish. And I think she is right with assuming that. She's not a Top 9 favorite so she has to go all out, whatever that means. Definitely understand how that makes her unlikable tho. And all of that is not even considering past things into the equation.

2021-08-15 22:18:41 +0000 UTCYeah I hear you with mnet evil editing it was just the stuff she was known for in China already on top of the yujin issue she issued a apology for it last week sometime but I mean that’s also convenient timing to issue a apology and since you can only judge these idols by their actions since their personal lives are so private it’s hard to like her I get confidence but she’s got to be smarter she knows people aren’t going to like her from the start because of past issues so why say something to yujin the most popular one there internationally she didn’t have to say anything at all like that when the judges brought it up she could have said anything else especially with Clc issues going on now that’s obviously gonna piss people of because everyone knows Clc underachieving is all on cube because of the inconsistency comebacks concept changes and giving away Clc song to izone la vien 🌹 so many management errors and it’s current news with Clc so not very smart of her in my opinion she’s obviously very talented but shot herself in the foot there

So yeah, those girls are a group I'm having both eyes on now tbh. I'm in the same boat as you, I have a hard time backing up Cube at this point. For me it's also 3 cases but instead of Dawn I'm a big HyunA fan - pretty much the same situation for both of us then lol. I can't believe they let go of their stars so easily. And apart from CLC, both HyunA and the whole of (G)I-DLE are literally the biggest factors of that company's success. It's a shame that the new investors who basically bought Cube in early 2020 didn't change enough for that to be fixed either.. oh well.

2021-08-15 22:06:35 +0000 UTCYeah that’s who she was xiaoting and yeah I’m just enjoying it trying to avoid the social media drama as much as possible because they are over dramatic about everything like knets toward soojin only if cube was like jyp and actually stuck by their artists like lia and hyunjin I still can’t believe the soojin thing because I was like you even if it was true who cares the things you do at that age are almost completely irrelevant plus it was so long ago I’m sure soojin has matured way past that phase going through trainee system and everything probably helped mature her a lot and what she was being accused of wasn’t even that serious in my opinion I hope a big agency signs her I honestly am having a hard time supporting any cube artists at this point first for me I liked dawn then he got kicked out then soojin now Clc like that previous cube ceo or executive who resigned was right when he said cube are worse than a gang of thugs I hope that company goes bankrupt

2021-08-15 21:59:29 +0000 UTCI have heard about Yaning having scandals somewhere but I wasn't aware what it was nor have I seen any proof so I just didn't talk or think about jt. I don't really think she was cocky to be cocky in the scene with Yujin. Trust me, mnet edits shit like this to the max to make a big drama from it. Yujin's facial expressions in that situation especially. I personally like how both acted in that situation. It's a fun little competition call out on the one side and an actual "Hey, I'm here too and I'm good. Pay attention to me" move, which I generally like if the person isn't overly arrogant or mean towarss someone. And I didn't think that was the case here. As for leaders.. Hmm. I think it would be cool if we had one from each group. So they could switch in interviews depending on the language needed. Suruiqi could be a leader for the Chinese girls. Maybe Kim Hyerim for the Korean girls? She seems very experienced and mature. As for the J group, I don't know. I don't see Hikaru as a leader. Maybe one will come out of their shell throughout the show

2021-08-15 21:47:16 +0000 UTCI’m perfectly happy with whoever debuts as long as yaning doesn’t because obviously China issues and now yujin issues she literally could have made everyone gloss over the issues back in China but now she acted cocky towards everyone and the most popular contestant so she screwed herself there I don’t care how talented she is if she is gonna act like that I don’t want her plus I mean she repeatedly has said the n word which I would normally forgive since she’s a foreigner and Chinese but everything added up no I don’t like her sorry like no offense to you if you do but I’m not basing my top 9 or favorites off of completely talent personality has to go in there too I’m interested out of everyone here who is going to emerge as the eunbi leader type because I don’t really see a leader yet maybe cai bing but That’s purely age based I don’t know her personality enough j group girl is too young and I assume it will be a k group member because that’s how it usually is but it would be cool if a foreigner got it do you or anyone here see a leader type if you’re more familiar with them
