[Award Show] MAMA 2021 - All Performances
Added 2022-01-26 12:30:59 +0000 UTCToday we're catching up with MAMA as I finally can watch this (explanation why only now in the video) - and honestly? I am positively surprised!
This was not at all as bad as many people made it out to be. Sure, a lot of the stages were of lower quality than in past years, but that didn't make it bad. It was still very much enjoyable. There were also a few standout performers, and here are the Top 5 performances in my opinion:
1. Brave Girls (overall most complete stage; the stage design was awesome and fun)
2. Stray Kids (Stray Kids being Stray Kids man.. also the transitions were great)
3. ITZY (Wow.. that first half was nuts. Probably my fav part of this award, but 2nd half? mhh)
4. Gwangil Jo & GAEKO (They killed it, especially with Garion)
5. Wanna One (Energetic and Beautiful were great, Burn It Up was alright - overall I'm happy they're back!)
Honorable Mentions: TXT, ATEEZ, Hiphop stage (RESUME +82)

I really liked it, it's just that the 2nd half is a bit less impressive than the 1st in comparison. Maybe worded a bit weirdly. It's not bad at all, just not as flashy or grand. So them ending on a "casual" note after having such an epic start was just a really tiny bit "meh" if you will for me

2022-01-27 00:13:00 +0000 UTCoh yes, it wasn't against Aespa. Maybe they'd like to sing live but SM doesn't let them. Maybe SM likes lipsyncing or having dance groups because it seems to get a habit. Without a reason imo. Like even Red Relvet had Pre Recorded Stages in recent comebacks. And please, they really don't need that shit. Anyway ^^ And yes, he made a mistake at the beginning in the duet with Lee Hi and Suhyun was just showing hand hearts and saying it's fiiiiiine <3 . It's so cute.

Not much variety. I know Jannabi's Killing Voice is quite high on the list, I won't forget about it :P Suhyun being her fan is cute :D

The second song was my favorite of the entire album. And still vote for his killing voice on your channel ^^. Aaaand side information, he works so well with other voices. He did wonderful duets with Lee Hi and Suhyun (his number one fan ^^) on begin again. You're right with dreamy I guess. Their songs are dreamy and it doesn't matter if they're happy, they always make me sad or melancholic. Same thing I appreciate for Itzy, they're live. (even though i really dislike Mafia). And well, i did not watch every performance so i got to know some now. Glad I watched it afterwards and not in your stream, now I could skip Aespa. ^^ Always same performance, same pre recorded track.
