Thanks for the info on Drop the Bit, didn't know it worked like that. Was that show any good overall? Yeah Chillin Homie all pass was the most "huh?" moment of the episode for me too. I forgot season 9 had that style of making teams lol, seems so big

2022-11-17 20:17:38 +0000 UTCA couple things 1. The casting system was used in season 9 as well. From the second round, only 40 passed. Each team had 10 contestants and they cut them from there. 2. Drop the Bit was split into teams. Roh Yoonha and another rapper called Cherry Boy 17 won as a duo. Honestly in my subjective opinion, I would say Los and Don Malik were my favorites in this episode. There were also a lot of drill guys, and Fleeky Bang + NSW Yoon were still the two best in that style imo. I thought Fleeky flowed really well in this round actually, a lot of his switch-ups hit me hard. I also agree with you that Khan flows decently but I don't like his voice either, it's too whispery and low-energy for my tastes. I said this in the stream but Chillin Homie's rap was hard for like the first 4 bars but then the beat slowed down again and it lost that initial hype. Still deserving of a pass but idk about an all pass. Episode had some pretty good talent, obviously Mnet splits the second round into two episodes so the next episode tends to bring out some of the biggest names. Evidence being that Youngji is teased like every 5 minutes lol. Still a decent episode, looking forward to more
