Ticket to Retribution [Kingdom Hearts II - Re:Fined]
Added 2024-12-22 00:27:17 +0000 UTCAs promised, here is the new sexy shmeksy Keyblade that Televo, DA, and Zurph has put together for y'all! Anyone who has pledged any amount at all can access this post and benefit from Retribution!
Simply install the ZIP file provided through OpenKH and rebuild (or repatch if you swing that way) and ta-da! Retribution is compatible with all save files, so no need to start a new game!
Do note that you will have to wait until v2.50 comes out to truly be able to access Retribution. The file is uploaded in advance to have people at the ready!
How to use:
Equip "Retribution"
Whilst hovering Retribution, press TRIANGLE (Or equivalent) and watch it change it's stats to any Keychain you'd like! Be mindful that it can only mimic the Keychains that you currently own and possess, so no going Ultima Weapon at the start of the game.
Note that you can also change the stats whilst in the Key Selection menu, however, the ability text won't update due to a game bug (But the ability itself will and the text will update upon equip).

Disney and Square Enix has nothing to do with this. The Keyblade "Retribution" and it's derivatives are created from the ground up without any ties to any Disney or Square Enix assets and/or associated works. Don't worry, it's legal. Not to mention Kingdom Hearts - Re:Fined always was, is, and will be completely free of charge.

Can you speak to this at all? Feels like a lot of conjecture and assumption by uneducated parties. Thanks for doing what SE refuses to do and helping get us closer to a definitive edition.
