Covid Part 2, Big Patreon Changes and a Poll

It's been a minute since I've made an announcement post like this, but I've got a lot to share, so bear with me.

Unfortunately, I've tested positive for COVID again, which is making it difficult for me to create new YouTube content like I planned for this week. I'm recovering, but it might take a few extra days, and some streams could be delayed as a result. Here's what's happening with my Patreon:

I'm planning some changes to the tiers. I'll be working out the specifics throughout the month and enforce them in early to mid-May.

• I'll create a Google spreadsheet with all the reactions linked and sorted by group (in addition to my website overview) of all Patreon uploads.
• I'm thinking about adding a perk to the $10 or $20 tier that lets you request a TV show. I'll watch the show you want and maybe even do two episodes a month, depending on the length. I'm still working out the details.
• I'll be more active with K-dramas, Animes, and eventually Album Listens again.
• I'm considering separating "Survival Shows" from general TV shows and putting them in the $5 tier, since they take longer to film. I may also move Album Listens to the lowest tier, but that could change.

But the most important change I'm considering is adjusting the prices for the tiers. I'm thinking about increasing the lowest $2 tier to $3/month.

I know some of you won't be happy about this, and honestly, I wouldn't be either if I were in your shoes. But I'm at a point in my life where I need to seriously consider whether to give up on YouTube and Patreon entirely to find a more stable job to support my studies and my girlfriend, or if I gotta change things up and grind hard to grow this Patreon again to maybe, maybe, MAAAYBE one day actually achieve my dream of becoming a full-time Youtuber and content creator.

If I could choose, this whole thing here is definitely my dream job. And I don't want to give that up in life. I never wanted something so much like this.

So here we are. I'm asking for your honest opinion. Would you be okay with this change, or not? Some of you have been with me on Patreon for years now, and you're the reason I keep dreaming about making this my full-time job one day and be able to do, what I think is meaningful and fulfilling for my life on planet Earth. Be an Entertainer and make people laugh, smile, be carefree, feel heard but also give a space for fun discussions and to experience new things together with.
