Here is today's Daily Reflection. The weekly quest can be found on discord as well.
Every gamer knows the feeling of setting a game aside, whether from frustration, difficulty, or simply life getting in the way. Yet, there’s something powerful about returning to a challenge after time has passed. What once felt overwhelming may now seem more manageable; what once felt daunting may now feel like an opportunity.
This week, as we embark on the journey of return, consider what has changed within you since you first faced this challenge. Growth isn’t always obvious in the day-to-day, but when we revisit unfinished quests, we often see just how much we’ve learned and evolved. Approaching an old game or a life challenge with fresh eyes is a reminder that we’re always leveling up, sometimes without even realizing it.
So, as you return to your ‘unfinished mission,’ bring with you patience, resilience, and the courage to try again. This journey is a chance to honor how far you’ve come, to recognize the strength and wisdom you now carry, and to give yourself permission to tackle challenges on your own terms.
This week I will be returning to a boss battle in a game called AI Limit. It is basically a cute girl dark souls. I finished the entire demo and unlocked the boss challenge mode where you have an opportunity to face a mid game boss from the developers. I loved this game. It reminded me of Code Vein on steroids.
Part of the reason I gave up was because I wanted to finish the demo in time for my upload and also because I simply lost the motivation after watching others best her so seemingly effortlessly. What I'd keep the same is the energy that allowed me to get though the first boss of the game, the one you could ignore if you like. It took several tries but at least I defeated them.
This time though, I'm gonna carefully select my weapons and attachments, finding one's that fit for me. I'm going to take my time and focus less on trying to make something that looks cool and more on completing the task, and I'm going to learn from each mistake and loss.
It reminds me of my own life though, the many times I've stopped and started, the projects I've began and abandoned, the way I see others being so effortlessly successful. This time I'm going to play my game and let the experience guide me. I'll see you all soon with the update and her defeat. If you'd like to check out my preview for AI Limit you can do so here.

2024-11-11 07:00:45 +0000 UTCI am embarking on that very same journey as I read this. Feels oddly poetic that I'm preparing to tackle an old quest as this comes out but still, I take it as a sign that it's my time to complete this particular journey that eluded me in the past.

2024-11-11 06:56:34 +0000 UTCThank you again to everyone that can contribute. It will help me ensure I have captions on all my videos, that I have a good quality mic, that I can compensate others for their work, and that I don't burnout and may eventually be able to do this full time!
