In my own personal opinion, when Sheldon’s father makes a good speech to him about having stage fright and how Sheldon didn’t talk as well about his father, I personally think the reason why he didn’t talk well because in his own way, he did look up to him, sure they did have very different interests but, he was there for him and he did appreciate it when he was a kid but, when his father died, the first thing that happened when it came to Sheldon was that he moved to California where Georgie had to support for the family, he left because he didn’t want to see the pain that was around him. I feel like Sheldon didn’t talk much or well on his father because if he talked about the happy/core memories he has of his father, it will make him sad because even though he doesn’t show it, he does miss him.

I also got more emotional at the end than I would have thought

Yes, Season 7 I feel is going to be a "kick in the teeth" sort of season.

I think the seventh season is going to be really really hard to get through. Sheldon's close to being 14, we still need to find out Paige's fate, and well I want more of Georgie his character development is my favorite.

George's speech to Sheldon and him protecting Veronica makes me wish he hadn't died. Not sure if you recall that Big Bang episode where the gang tries to help him with his stage fright, but I wonder if his father's words ever crossed his mind.

Meemaw looks good in that leotard. So I just wana say Sheldon's dad reminds me so much of Dan from Roseanne he's such a papa bear and when Veronica's moms boyfriend showed up I got flashbacks to a Roseanne episode.

I will say no hints beyond ... you might want to bring a tissue for the finale. I'm not a cryer, but even I was moved by it, and I have been waiting ALL SEASON for you to get there, lol. This has been a great journey to join you on. I'm currently watching the sixth and (currently) last season of Young Sheldon. I believe it's been renewed for a seventh. It remains a great show. Highs and low, comedy and seriousness. It's a nice balance even though it's a very different atmosphere than TBBT.
