15. Veg Patch & Wood
Added 2022-09-10 10:25:37 +0000 UTCwith the gaps in the insane heat increasing and giving us a break, we cracked out the tools and got as much done as we could.
The wood pile was running low, both for fire wood and building materials, so a few trees got the chop and we made it back around the the veg patch, finishing the fences over a year n a bit later.
It was tough going and towards the afternoons we'd still get scortched, but I was pleased with how us two pasty Brits were handling the hottest summer on Portuguese record!

I'm not a person that says you should do this so I'm saying Ive had a idea may not be a good one but have you thought on reflecting the heat away from your vans idea I've just had you know them foil window screen reflectors could you put a few of them out on the roof it would be something else you would need to remove befor driving away but may help reduce van heat who knows also there's a way to cool your carvan down that may help next summer geothermal heating & cooling if you getting digger on sight you could kill 2 birds with one stone least you would have a cool place in summer and warm in winter like say this isnt you should do what I say again just come to mind loving the content
