34. The Tree Platform

I had to take this down earlier as Youtube decided not to process HD so had to mess around sorting that out, a video isn't worth watching if it's 360p. But that's sorted now so it's ready to watch.
I'm back with more timber based goodness from the land. I can't remember when we drew the first sketch of our triangular platform idea but it's stayed in the book for some time. We made a clearing last year through the woods but that's as far as it got for a year. Now back we're hitting these fanciful ideas hard and the first one was to make the platform a reality. Not only would it look cool but it serves as a great place for shade in the hottest parts of the day as well as a place to hang out with friends or just catch a breeze and enjoy the view out over the canopy.
