Hello there
Well this is all very exciting (admittedly primarily for me and maybe people exactly generationally like me).
I have completed my quest to draw the first 12 Kenner/PalitoyStar Wars figures from the seventies. You may have noticed the other five drawings I did on here (there's two figures on each), and today I present you with the progress pics and then the final pic. AND the pic of them all together which I am delighted with.
Slightly less delighted that my regular printer has told me they are unable to print in the size I wanted (essentially 6 A5s in a row), but I will explore other avenues. The original aren't A5, they are A4, but you may be able to tell that 6 A4 pages in a row is massive.
I'm blabbering, shall we?
There's a real imbalance in the progress pics, because the final figure was Han Solo and was easy because it's mostly block-black. Chewie took aaaaaaaaages.

Which brings us to today's first stage of completion which isssssssss...

And then if we take all the completed pieces through to the bedroom, clear a bit of room on the floor, and spread them all out neatly, we have...

Which means we also have Ian really desperately wanting to find somewhere that can print this as a single piece because he wants it on his own wall as a matter of urgency.
I do need to make C-3PO and R2 a touch smaller when I scan them though, because even allowing for perspective on the picture, they're a tiny bit too large.
Still, good to tick off a daft quest innit?
Hope you are having a brilliant Sunday over there and keeping warm. Well freezing here and my oil isn't coming till Tuesday.
Much love to you
