A Monday Gesture Post

Hello there

If you heard my Cabin Fever podcast at the weekend you shall have heard me pondering the option of taking a day off patreon today.  My appearance here, wherever you look or get notified, would seem to imply I did not do that.

Which would be half right.  I like to think of this as a gestural post, where I bring you something, but not something that I would normally sign off as a proper post.  It's going to be mostly pictures I think.

So, myself and Simon (mainly Simon), have been slowly collating and curating the deleted footage for the Halloween screening of the movie at Birmingham MAC.  For those of you who like to know about the minutiae of this kind of work, it has involved Simon sending me a load of deleted footage, then me going through it all, then me saying yay or nay, then me saying "Oh what about when we did this thing" and then Simon going off to try and find it, then Simon finding it, then me saying yay or nay again, and the cycle continues. 

I think we are pretty close to finalising the list, and there's a nice mix of stuff in there.  The very main issue is that a lot of the deleted stuff runs so long without a full edit, so I've opted for shorter(ish) buts, with a couple of extended scenes being held in reserve in case needed on the evening itself. 

As I have been going through them today, I took a few screen grabs from them , and that's what I shall now be presenting to you.  I am endeavouring to make this as spoiler-free as possible too (I've more news on extended distribution for the movie in another post this week), so whereas I may allude in my comments below, they will only make sense in a spoiler way if you have seen the movie itself...

There we go - those will do as my teases today.  Fear not if you aren't coming to the screening on Halloween, they will arrive somewhere (here) in due course, and if you still want to come to the screening then I know there are folk trying to offload tickets like always happens. There may be some company comps released too, as I don't think Bil has remembered that he requested them and he's in France as far as I know.

It could very well be sold out but empty, let's be honest.
