Hello there

Hey, I shall tell you straight, this one is for hardcore only.

I found this a genuine struggle to record on this occasion, and listening back to it just now I think you can tell. There were some tech/distraction issues early on, which I explain, but it's definitely one of those ones where I didn't do myself justice. It was last night, I was running out of time, and then ended up bringing up stuff that's a bit glum for me and blah di blah.

I mean, there's a story about a guillotine and a story about a water company person being condescending in a weird way, but there's also existential stuff and a whole musing on death, so it certainly balances itself out, rather than being consistently fun. Ends up sounding like a muted cry for help.

Consider this an IOU - that I owe you a fun Cabin Fever Podcast next week at the latest, which I should manage if I improve my time management and sleeping.

What I can offer you today though is much love your way, and hope all is safe and sound (particularly in the UK with all the angry weather that's been making its feelings clearly known).
