Hello there

This isn't a real post, which is why it is being snuck out to you on a Sunday which is now my Patreon day of rest.  I wrote this before the hiatus and it was originally scheduled for the 4th March, but then I went off so I parked it to bring it to you at a later date.  Which is now.  I've left the post otherwise untouched from the original scheduling...

So here is a brief little post of information to help you, which will in turn help me hopefully.  I have been having an ongoing chat with a long-term patron (it was Michael Oatmilk) who has been badgering me to change everything about my patreon/helping me to stabilise the ship.

One of the things that was brought up was the fiddlyness (my word) of podcasts on here.  So I wanted to share a couple of links with you, where you can set up the podcasts via an RSS to play on your podcast player of choice.  Whatever they are. 

It is very odd, but for someone who has done a fair few podcasts, and all the admin involved in them, I haven't a clue about this sort of stuff.  I only learnt what an RSS feed actually was a couple of years ago, and still couldn't properly explain it to you, so I am essentially repeating what I have been told from a grown up here.

In the first of two links, this is the page that patreon have to help you set up using the RSS link:

That should be a direct link to your own custom RSS link.  There's no one-size-fits-all link, so that it can't be shared outside the fifty foot, barbed wired, walls surrounding this Patreon.

I'm going to add this into the contents page once it's gone live too, so if you forget any of it, and don't want to search for this post, it'll be atop the pinned contents post for ease of use.

Hope that's helpful for those of you who are as inept and luddite  as I truly am. 

The rest of you who already worked it out can do a proper smug look right now, and make us all feel even smaller.  I bet Simon is doing it as we speak.
