This one-off is too hot on the heels of the last one-off a couple of weeks ago, but here we are. I don't want you to mistake this for confidence, it's rather all I had in stock and had to grab something to upload.
In fact, I'd consigned this to unpostable, but events conspired to make me have to re-evaluate. I explain the recording situation in the podcast itself, to give you an idea of how it fell in my day, and I even chopped once song entirely because it sounded so awful.
So when you hear the rest of them, imagine quite how bad that must have been.
Still, the spirit is willing, even if the flesh is weak. Just be careful over-shaking your head at it. We don't want to add a neck strain into the equation.
At the very least, I am also sending all my love alongside this, and hoping your week is going brilliantly for you.

So here I am both tired and emotional and after writing regrettable things on the white board of the office while picking up my bag and coat and half the wall of crisps my team created for my birthday. Which is on Sunday but I’m on leave hence the midweek boozing. But I digress. I was going to ask for a request but I got a Cilla Black LP for my birthday so I can only think of Anyone Who Had a heart. And I don’t think it’s a strummy one. So Caught in my Shadow please. Or Step outside Love or any Cilla. Trust me she had it. Not the voice exactly but something. I’m rambling now. Thank god I don’t have to go to work tomorrow. I would love it if you liked Frightened Rabbit. Maybe best if you don’t though. Love you lots. Xxxx
