Here I am, bright and bushy tailed, with the last Cabin Fever before Christmas, and - as a result - I bang on about Christmas loads.
There is a bit of peripheral noise in this as I had to record it in my art room/Echo Base to try to get away from some drilling. You can still hear the drilling a bit. I've done my best to repair it, and the echo, but it's perhaps not one for headphones still. Feel free to bail on it, if it's too irritating (but I just edited it and found it bearable enough).

I asked my mum if my brother's kids believe in Santa and she said she thinks they pretend to so as not to embarrass my brother...

I always felt the same as you, that the day itself felt tangibly, physically different, like it's even Christmas outside. I've been working on a book set at Christmas for a long time, and trying to describe that phenomenon is surprisingly difficult. Also enjoyed hearing you talk about your times playing tantrums on podcasts - you having a meltdown over being told off for asking for Muppets on P&G remains one of my favourite ever comedy moments. "I don't think I will ever be happy untill I AM KERMIT!"
