Hello there
Today I bring you one of my portrait pieces, which I'm not actually going to say an awful lot about as I've also done a written post about it for later in the week (about the TV show, not about the portrait, that would be pushing it...)
I have done this portrait of two of my favourite ever TV characters, that you might not even have ever seen (if you're a fool), in Alan Shore and Denny Crane from Boston Legal. Or James Spader and William Shatner, as they are known to their wives.
I've been watching a lot of Boston Legal over the weekend, which was how I chose to spend my couple of sick days off, and chose to draw this as I knew I needed to do some art but also really wanted to keep watching Boston Legal. This was basically the compromise. Many times in my life it's been my comfort watch (again I'll tell you more about that in the written post) and this weekend was no exception to that.
Anyways, who's gonna be reading the words on an art post? I'm barely reading them as I'm typing. Let's crack on with the progress pics and the finished piece (assuming I make it to the end)...

Which brings us right up to...

There we go. The first suited double act I've drawn since back when I drew Cannon & Ball. If nothing else it's a huge step towards me needing to get some new pens. It was struggling a little bit by the time I got to the end of the solid black bits.
Which is still an achievement. We must always look for the positives in life.
Hope your week is going wonderfully well already, and you're all set for a nice long listen to Loopholes tomorrow.
Much love to you
