Loopholes Podcast Derailed

Hello there

Right...

Kate and I have decided to write this blurb together so we both post the same content. So, here’s what’s going to happen. The first 15 minutes of this episode will be repeated in next week’s podcast, making it the official start to  Loopholes Episode 15. However, it is included in this episode for context, as you will hear.

Here’s what happened…

In this episode you’ll hear that - after the 15 minute mark - we go off-piste and what you hear has been left (mostly) unedited. However, we made the decision to keep recording.

We debated whether to release this episode – which you’ll find out yourself, as we kept those discussions in. We had the same chat we would have had if the microphone hadn’t been on, and it’s an honest one at that. Having listened back to it, our voices sound a bit different; I suppose that’s what we sound like in ‘real life’.

To cut a long story short, an external input derails this podcast and neither of us felt able to come back to the task at hand. Rather than explain it here, your best bet is to have a listen. It’s very clear what happened. Hopefully, while it’s nothing like a regular episode of Loopholes, it will be an interesting look behind the curtain – at least to the darker aspects of ‘putting yourself out there’.

It's important to say that we’re both fine, rejuvenated, and have already continued recording Episode 15.

So, Episode 15 next week will begin the same way, because we don’t want to penalise people who left comments for the planned episode. Your comments are a huge part of Loopholes and we don’t want this week’s derailed recording to alter the ongoing narrative.

Hope you are having a lovely week thank you

You are treasured from here

Comments

I was late to listening to this week's episode, so I just want to say I think you're both great and love you both.

Alice Maguire

Podcast is ace, so well done you both, especially as I have little interest in the subject. Have you ever played the Yvette Fielding's Ghosts board game? (Bought from a charity shop and never played.) People are idiots.
