End of the First Story Poll!

The winner was the following idea, ekeing out the victory at six votes: "A couple tourists visit a shrine, and find themselves staying to help out (miko tf + inanimate tf)". The intial proposal was a bit lengthier than would fit in the poll, so here that is:
" A couple of tourists hiking in Japan come across a remote but perfectly kept shrine with an incredibly beautiful miko. In contrast to most visitors to the shrine, one is respectful and listens to her. As a "reward", she brainwashes and transforms him into her new apprentice miko, prideful and immortal just like her. And then she teaches her apprentice how to transform the other visitor into a nice new object for the shrine, maybe a wall scroll, or a incense holder? (Have to keep the shrine looking nice and new, after all. Thank goodness all these tourists make such wonderful replacements for worn-out things.) "
