Just Right (draft one)
Added 2018-05-21 18:00:01 +0000 UTCHere's the original version of Just Right I posted online, and the first version I sent to my producer in the dropbox! As you can hear I hadn't yet written the chorus I landed on for the song, and was using the bridge as the chorus. I completely forgot I wrote this song on guitar and Seth said it might be nice on ukulele. We had someone come into play ukulele because at that point I didn't know how to play (and honestly it's only been this year I've been able to play to a click). I remember feeling intimidated by the guy we had in. He was working for ERB at the time. Fast forward two years when I was looking for a drummer to play with at Vidcon and my friend Jesse recommended Dante! Two more years (now on tour with Dante and Jesse) and on this last tour it dawned on me that Dante my drummer, was the same person who played ukulele on my record haha. anyway that's a super long story but the point is I have trouble recognizing and placing people lol.
