unbelievable. I can't believe this was the last day working on the new record. In June of last year I came in to start the process, at the time Seth and I had agreed to about two months. At the time I didn't realize just how SAD I was, truly, I was quite a mess but was pushing all that down HARD. It took us ten months (although granted not working all that time, we'd be in for two months, out for one, back in etc). Seth kept the burnt out bulbs on his desk and in the first month I would touch them a lot and one day I said "I want to break these so bad" and he was like "tell you what, on our last day we can each break one." I can't believe it's done. Now we still have to mix and master the record but we're working toward a release date this summer. Thanks for sticking with me all this time. I'm so happy to be here now, and not who I was then.
In this next month I'm going to be releasing a patreon only B-sides EP for Halloway, the same five songs reproduced (and imagined), in a dreamier/more lullaby-esc soundscape. As a goodbye to Halloway and that era. I can't wait for you to hear the new music. I can't wait to play shows. I'm working now on a house tour for June then something bigger in September! Hope your week is going well and I'm looking forward to telling you more soon!
