thanks a lot! I'll change it up a bit. Your comment about headphones and speakers is very true. It's a nightmare to mix it in such a way that it works on all listening methods. Speakers on phones/laptops do mostly high frequencies, making large parts of the music fade in the background, normal speakers are often boomy with too much low frequencies and reverb in the room, making them relatively muddy and hard to understand the voice. And then there's headphones that give an ""accurate"" listening experience because there is no room, no reverb, etc. You can hear every little detail on headphones, even if the mix is bad. And then it also differs for each of these at different volumes. At a low volume the mix might sound right, but then when you turn the volume up, the voice is suddenly too soft. So... yeah it's a bit of a mess. I'll look into it!

2024-05-30 08:01:19 +0000 UTCespecially these areas are very hard to hear: * 0:07 - 0:36 * 0:44 - 0:53 * 0:57 - 1:03 * 3:54 - 3:58 * 4:34 - 4:40 so pretty much the background music while you are talking can be tuned down overall or your voice itself could be a bit higher, because right now they are very close in terms of magnitude especially in the parts listed. (extra info: this is only when listening through speakers, listening with headphones sounds a lot better.)

2024-05-29 07:12:49 +0000 UTCMusic is so wildly crazy good. Maybe just a little softer in spots so it doesn’t distract from dense technical narration. Thumbnail I thought was talking about Saw the movie at first, and the image was a very cold doorway. Not a bad thing though.
