Lapis Lazuli Study (Term 49)
Added 2021-01-12 21:14:18 +0000 UTCThis was a small study in prep for our next crystal gal we did on stream! While I wouldn't call it finished, I learned a ton about the properties of this little guy and maybe some of my insights could enlighten you too.
Studying lapis lazuli was a total 180 from the amethyst! Turns out this little stone isn't translucent at all. The colors that scatter the surface are incredibly vibrant blue with pale flecks of gold; when unpolished, these piece look like tiny trapped pieces of gold-leaf! Really beautiful - I had no idea how quickly I'd be falling in love with this one.
