"PEASANTS OF THE REALM, UNITE!"-DISCUSSION THREAD!

Thank you very much, VorpalBunny! About the hair, for me was important to show the transition of Alda from the majestic pose to the more "savage" one: without dress, nobles and vassals are equal. About translations, there´s a problem that you can see also at the French version: I often use the Ancient Castilian (medieval Spanish), long phrases, and lots of puns, and that suppose a very difficult task for the translator. In fact, I work with a couple of translators, and they use different ways to put same expressions at English. Italian translation is better, just because Spanish and Italian are very similar languages. But maybe I send the next translation to a native for have some clues (but... British, American or Australian?) PD: Moreover, I just realized that there´s an errata at last page, the first line of a text is in Spanish. I send you the fixed version before weekend.

I really liked this comic. the art and drawings are magnificent and one can see how much work, time, and effort goes into it. I especially liked how the peasants gradually opened up the fancy hairdo of the marquess panel by panel. that was a really nice attention to detail. What could be improved is the translation. I do not mean to criticize whoever translated it, but the english grammar is sometimes really off, and other times just really weird. I think the overall quality of the (international) comic would improve a lot if you have some native english speaker proof-read it before it goes live. I'm sure you'd find a volunteer if you'd ask around on here.
