Supporter Newsletter - July

Hello to all of our beautiful Supporters! It's time for our July Supporter Newsletter. As a reminder, we like to post these in hopes to keep you all informed as possible and go into a bit further detail on things we may have left out of our primary monthly newsletter. This month we don't have quite as much to cover but we'll be going over the possibility of new Sea of Thieves private servers, what your money has helped us achieve during June and a new interesting event idea. We have a lot of new Supporters this month so I hope you all enjoy this post of information about the community. Let's get to it!

Firstly, let's touch on where your money has been going recently over the month of June. As usual, we've hosted a Supporter Giveaway and put some money into winnings for events as well. We also did a HUGE Sea of Thieves giveaway at the beginning of the month for many of our members. We even gifted all of our Moderators a copy of Sea of Thieves on Steam for all their hard work they've been putting in. Along with those things, we also pay for our Minecraft Server, VPS(Virtual Private Server), Premium Bot Management and Discord Nitro(As Needed). We've also found ourselves a temporary Video Editor for our YouTube videos and we've paid them for the work they've done so far. We're going to continue looking for a more permanent video editor as we progress into the future.

Now to touch on the idea of having new private servers coming to Sea of Thieves. We've stated already in our primary July Newsletter that we're in contact with Rare about testing these new private servers. We have also offered to pay for our own private server for testing as soon as we can so that we're able to get hands on ASAP. The possibility of having private servers for Sea of Thieves and in our community will really be a big help when hosting events. An awesome event like the one mentioned in our June Newsletter, the Tournament Style PvP Event where crews battle each other for a cash prize would be incredibly easy to host if we had our own private servers. This is going to be something we're working hard to test over the next month and will touch on it more when we have more information.

Lastly, we've recently had the idea brought to our attention of a Movie Night event. We thought this would be a very interesting and exciting event to host but we're still in the early stages of planning it at the moment. We'd like to be able to host a night either once a week, once every two weeks or even once a month where many members of the community can come together to enjoy a voted movie together. Right now we're still looking into places that we'd be able to easily share the movie between everyone so that we can watch together since Discord Streaming allows up to 50 people to watch and has a tendency to get pixelated randomly. While we continue to look into this, please let us know if you have any ideas or suggestions about the event you could provide.

As always I want to really stress how amazing you all are and the support you provide to our community. There's no way we could do the things we do here without all of you! Our Supporters are the backbone of Requiem and we love you all. If there's any ideas or suggestions you have please let us know below. Also, if there's any information you'd like us to start sharing in these supporter newsletters, please let us know!
