Supporter Newsletter - June

Hello to all of our beautiful Supporters! Happy June everyone and I hope you all had a great month of May. We're approaching summer which is exciting and on top of that, our community has gained up to 22K members now. With our continued growth it has been absolutely amazing. You all are awesome and I can truly say that we wouldn't be here without you. Your continued support has been amazing.

Now, jumping into what will be the best part of this newsletter. I am able to share with you all that we are going to be hosting a month-long giveaway for a PS5 for everyone in our community and BEYOND. How did we get our hands on one you may ask, well I can say, it was no easy task. Along with the PS5, we will be giving an extra controller and the new Spiderman Miles Morales. We're still getting things set up for this giveaway but you can feel free to share this information with your friends because we're just as excited as you.

Now for this month's budgeting and where your money is going. Please comment below if this information is useful to you and if you'd like us to continue sharing it. Please note that all of these expenses does not include any extra revenue Requiem did not spend. A lot of our money goes towards staff Benefits (%56) which includes staff payments, team giveaways, officer of the month, sot officer plunder passes, etc. Our monthly normal savings (%20) which goes towards our quarterly charity events and taxes at the end of the year. Another normal expense is our Server Hosting/Maintenance (14%) which goes towards our VPS, Dedicated Machine Hosting, Premium Bots, Website, etc. Our last monthly expense is our Giveaways (10%) which goes to exactly what you'd think.

I would like to remind all of you that these charges are something that we budget out prior to each month. Most all months we do not use all of the money we've budgeted out and depending on our revenue things could move a bit differently. This is why you see the percentages on what we've spent money on each month change a bit.

I would like to quickly apologize again for the delayed newsletter. Between being busy, slight procrastination, and now underestimating the amount of work there is during a move, I (Lukian) got a bit behind on writing the newsletters for this month. You shouldn't have to expect these to be late going forward as I'm going to do my best to make sure they're out on time.

Admin - Mookest

Hello fellow supporters,
It’s Mookest here. Yes I support too. I continue to support this great community and help it to grow and prosper to the best of my ability. I have been set back on a lot of projects due to IRL trying to get a routine as more and more of the world opens up. A new server partnership is on the horizon but the server we will soon partner with is going through a redesign so just keep your eyes open on that I. The future. For now I’ll be hanging out in the background working on projects for the teams. Thanks again for your support and check out our Minecraft servers!

Admin - Spylon

Hello there. Spylon here.

Last month I mentioned how Dash would soon be taking over my responsibilities as Development Lead. The time has finally come where I get to switch focus to my new(er) position, Creative Director! The past month I worked with other creatives to create graphics, animations, and user interfaces for some of our upcoming projects. This includes a brand new video intro, video outro, infographics for Sea of Thieves, business cards, merch concepts, and much more!

In addition to that, I've obviously still been busy with some technical things as well. I might have stepped into a different position, but I still play an important role in Requiem's development team. Be sure to keep an eye out for sneak-peeks of projects we've got in the works.

Howdy again Supporters!

Roesch21 here. Not a lot to update you guys on this month as far as recruitment is concerned. We're sill plugging along. Once again Minecraft has been a big focus for me and my team this month. If you haven't checked out our MC servers yet you totally should! Other than that keep telling your friends about us and let's continue to make this one of the best multi-gaming communities around!

Moderator - Judgementreeper

Judge here,

Just wanted to share some updates made over the past month. For starters, now you now find our event schedule under our NEWS & INFO section of Discord.
Within that channel you can find the link to an event idea submission form, all submissions are reviewed by me and my team.

Thank you for your continued support as our community grows.

Moderator - Kakarot

Yo hello, this is Kakarot!

As always I'm the MC Lead, and this month for Minecraft there hasn't been too much going on. Been getting a lot of progress done on the Pixelmon server but still no date when that will be done. Wanting it to be as perfect as possible before releasing it.

The Towny server has gone through some updates but they have mostly been negative so far unfortunately. Been doing my best to fix everything I can about that. Most of the changes are a different claiming plugin, players can make their own shops and a new Job system. Other than that Towny has been doing really good and has become the most popular server so far.

As for Skyblock, that server is going to go through some updates as soon as I get Towny all finished up and all the players are happy! Thank you for reading this and hopefully see you on the Servers!

Moderator - Yassinator

Hello, It's Yassinator.

As some of you may know I'm the General Moderator. There hasn't been too much going on, I have been here and there throughout Requiem helping out with different projects and the overall upkeep of the community.

I have specifically been working a lot in the Sea of Thieves section, helping out with managing the team and overseeing the staff. Speaking of which we are still looking for more officers to help us watch the servers, if you are interested in helping out the community Please Apply!

I hope you all are having a great day, Yassinator out.

Moderator - Dash

Hey everyone, it's Dash!

As I'm sure most of you know by now, I've taken over the role of Dev Lead from Spylon, enabling him to fill the Creative Lead role better and it's been great!

Our projects have been moving along nicely and we've got some awesome new bots in the works that I think you guys will enjoy.

It's been super exciting to watch Requiem grow over the past few months and I'm incredibly thankful to be a part of it!

Moderator - Trip

Hey what's up my name is Trip, I'm the social media manager for Requiem and help out with a few other things on the side.

I've only been working with Requiem for one month but it's been a blast so far, honestly Requiem is one of the more organized teams I have been part of when it comes to internal structure and consistency. My background is mostly in content management, team building and running social media accounts, my experience started in the Call Of Duty Montage community with teams like FaZe and SoaR, and the last few years I've mostly focused on building esports teams and working with competitive rosters.

I look forward to seeing where my journey with Requiem takes me, if you've made it this far into my story thanks for reading!

Moderator - JunkyWRX

Hey y'all, Junky here!

For those who haven't met me yet, I'm Requiem's new FiveM Lead. I oversee the management and development of Requiem's soon-to-come FiveM roleplay server.

The FiveM Team and I have been working day in and day out to build our new FiveM server from the ground up. Currently, we have finished one beta test successfully and are working on getting everything buttoned up nicely. The team has completed multiple things from custom garages to customizable police cruisers.

We have grown our FiveM Team to 6 Officers now and are always looking for more! From the FiveM Team and myself, we'd like to say thank you for supporting Requiem and being part of this amazing community. Hope to see you in the streets of San Andreas soon!

Moderator - Jeefer

Hello everyone, my name is Jeefer. For those who don't know I'll be helping out with the Support Team as well as interacting with you guys.

Currently I'm working on some new applications to help log suggestions so that I can bring all of your wonderful ideas to our staff team for consideration. I'm also looking at ways to make sure that you guys know that your suggestions are being heard as well as interacting with the community in all of our chats. If you ever see me in any of our chats feel free to say hello.

Thanks to everyone who supports and makes it possible for Requiem to be as great as it is. I look forward to reading all of your suggestions and making sure the community is heard.
