REC (2007) MOVIE REACTION! FIRST TIME WATCHING!!

I've said this once and I'll say it again.....Shaun.....your voice hits a certain octave......ow......I'm never wearing headphones again for one of your horror film reactions :) I've been wanting to see this film SO BADLY for years! I saw Quarantine first, not at all realizing that it was an American remake. After watching this with you guys, Quarantine copies REC beat for muthafuckin' beat! Both are decent films, but Quarantine didn't really add anything new to the mix. The finale of REC was definitely done better with the unfailingly creepy creature design. Almost shut my damn computer screen from fear alone. The lady handcuffed to the banister too.....*shivers in Midwestern*.... Also, I've never told off a protagonist more for not being quiet than this film. Her acting was very believable (if not a little emotionally excessive), but I kinda just wanted to throw something at her. Nothing harmful....just....you know.....pieces of tape......for her face. God, this film gave me the creeps. Haven't seen the second one, but the third one was terrible in my opinion. Have no idea what happened to derail the series, but something consequential did. For Quarantine, the sequel was mostly set on a plane and it's actually not bad. It's fairly claustrophobic and creepy with above subpar acting. What more could you ask for from a horror sequel? Hopefully, this isn't the end of horror reactions. I'm sure you'll find other horrors to check out. Lord knows there is no end to the recommendations! We a needy group :) I think you should start reacting to truly terrible horror films......Troll 2, anyone?? LET'S GO! Anyway, I'm out! Don't get quarantined in any shady-looking apartment buildings with a zombie infection! Okay, guys? I'm counting on you to make good decisions! And.....Shaun.....my ear is still ringing :)
