Just getting this in before I watch your video; this episode was not designed as a "season finale". They were fulling expecting to have a full season of 22 or 23 episodes. Indeed, the last three episodes, "The Message", "Heart of Gold", and "Objects in Space" were never even aired in the U.S. I think I read somewhere they were aired in the UK. But the plan was to go the full season.
