The Fog (1980) MOVIE REACTION! FIRST TIME WATCHING!!

Comments

Ok, well then I stand corrected. I've been watching you guys from the start and usually when one of you say you say the movie is slow you also state you were bored so I was assuming. But I'm glad that's not the case then because I feel people often slap a "boring" description on a movie if it isn't loaded with action the whole time and I don't think that is necessarily the case. A good example of that is the movie DARK CITY which I hope you guys do one of these days. I think it's brilliant but there are definitely times when it's all about the mood, not the action. Such a good movie.

We really don’t think that slower movies are boring, we’ve never said it, but sometimes we mention that modern audiences like fast paced movies and therefore films with a slower pace can be perceived by the masses to be more boring, we on the other hand do not believe this

I really think this film created such a creepy feel that was a fresh feel to modern horror films. I know you guys always feel that if the movie doesn't move quickly it's boring, but I don't necessarily feel that is the case. Slower movies like this can really create a scary atmosphere by slowly creating a sense of anticipation with the eerie things you begin noticing as the story builds to the climax.

The little kid in this movie is the same kid from Halloween 2 with the busted mouth at the hospital...still love this movie!
