Candyman (2021) MOVIE REACTION! FIRST TIME WATCHING!!

Oh man....I get that the original is a less showy film in it's cinematography, but I think it's also the better directed movie (though I think Nia DaCosta really does an excellent job here). Bernard Rose brings a patience and romanticism to the proceedings that this film evokes, but so many of his decisions really stick for me on a lot of levels that the new film didn't.
