Patreon Update - June 13th

Feels like I haven't done an update for a little while - how the bloody hell are you all? I am feeling probably the best I have felt in a really long time. This new career path has allowed me to live a much healthier lifestyle! I am sleeping more, eating well, exercising 4-6 times a week, I've cut out alcohol... I just feel so much better. Freelance life looks good on me.
One of the last things I really want to get on top of is Patreon - I'm organising my work schedule each week so I get at least 1.5 days dedicated to writing, filming and editing Patreon & YouTube content. I want to start creating more varied content for you all... book reviews (I know we have some serious readers in the group so I know these conversations will be great), reaction videos, more inspiring short films like the Stockholm video's... just a larger variation of higher quality content.
This is a work in progress, however. But, keep an eye out as content starts to shifts and become more regular and varied.
On a side note - this week has been huge for me on the company front. I can't really say more right now (but hopefully I can once contracts are signed in the coming days/weeks) but I've been approached to do some video projects for some pretty big and well known names in the lifestyle and fitness space and I am just sat here like... little old me? Really? 🤣
Anyway - that's what I have been up to. Very busy. Very happy. And my boy will be home in 2 weeks (and we're going to celebrate London Pride for the first time ever... which is awfully exciting!!!!)

P.S... I finished Red, White and Royal Blue a few days ago and WOW. OBSESSED. Will be filming and uploading a Book review very, very soon and know I have a very serious obsession with Alex and Henry... IYKYK. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I hope it’s going to be epic.🤞 It’s a sun and moon embracing, with Omar’s face as the sun and Edvin’s profile as the crescent moon. I am impressed with the artwork for it and it’s becoming a tattoo on Friday!

If we’re all updating each other, I have just taken on a new student for home tutoring, 10 years old which is a bit younger than students I usually teach, but she’s lovely and it’s going well. I realise how important teaching is to me if I’m not doing any and I haven’t had any tutoring for a few months, so it’s really good to get back to it. Red, White and Royal Blue was a very enjoyable read and I just hope the film does it justice. The guy who plays Henry was in a rather ‘meh’ film, Purple Hearts, recently and the song in it won Best Musical Moment when we all know it should have been Simon’s Song. 🙄 Because season 3 of Young Royals will be the final one, I am shortly getting an Edvin and Omar tattoo. My first and probably only one. Yep, growing old disgracefully.😉

I’m going to have to somehow find the time to read some of these books, if you start including book reviews! Do you think you’re going to have the chance to go see Tobie’s play? Since I know the playwright and have heard one of his scripts read before, I’m interested to hear what you think about it, and how Tobie does in the role he’s playing.

I actually just started reading Red, White, and Royal Blue a few days ago and found out just today there is a movie that will be out in a couple months. Wow! can't wait for that either. 2023-06-13 22:17:18 +0000 UTCGlad to hear that you are feeling so good, sounds like being freelance really suits you 😊 I am on the countdown as well, but mine is til the summer holidays and I get 6 weeks off work (can't come soon enough this year, been a long, hard and sometimes taxing term) then I will be heading off for two whole weeks in Portugal, my uncle lives over there and we haven't been over since before Covid so really looking forward to it 😎☀️☀️🍹📖 I will also be attending my first ever Pride, Highland Pride ❤️ although my aim one year is to go to London Pride, that would be amazing. I see you are now like the rest of us and have added yet another couple to the very long list of tv show/book pairings!! Love Alex and Henry and can't wait for the film to come out, it looks so good from the few snippets of pictures we've seen.

Some of them were so romantic and funny.
