Finally getting a little caught up with these. I have to say I did not recognize Will Arnett as Calico Jack until I looked it up on IMDB. Now, as is my habit, I’m going to go watch Alex and Josh‘s reaction to this episode. 🙂

I can't stand watching Calico Jack, but I do really identify with how Stede feels through the whole thing - like he's suddenly an outsider in his own space and can no longer understand this person he thought he was getting to know fairly well. Meeting someone's ex or friend from the past is often quite awkward, so that's relatable, but it's hard to watch for me. Also agree completely that something was off this episode with lighting/VFX... maybe they spent the whole budget on getting rights to The Chain (which was placed perfectly). Next two episodes are best of the season for me - looking forward to your reactions. Hope your cough improves!
