If I remember correctly this is meant to be their first year of college (not sure what are college is in the Uk/Us, but they might be 16 or so. So maybe it’s meant to be about -2,5 years between this season and season three.

Then we got AOL and chat rooms an instant messaging, and that changed the game. I never got to google if I was gay because my family didn’t have a computer so we would have to use the one at the library, definitely wasn’t going to look it up there. Social media would have absolutely changed my own queer realization.

2023-12-31 17:30:47 +0000 UTCOnce again, there are a lot of similarities between this episode, and the second episode of Skam, but a couple of interesting differences are that Hannah lives with her father instead of her mother like Eva did, and the song that Isak requests that is deemed “gay” is “I’m Yours” by Jason Mraz. Also, the person who shows up unexpectedly in Skam is a character who we never see again.

Since each season was supposed to be taking place in real time, the first episode of season one began on March 19, 2018, the second season began on December 17, 2018 and the third season began on March 9, 2019. So season three actually begins a full year after the beginning of season one.

You just have to be a bit patient 😉 Matteo is the only boy who gets his own season, the other seasons are all about the girls. And we get some forshaddowing about Matteos storyline in this season… Happy new year to you Jackie 🥳
