February / March Update

The Wind Waker video is finished and online and I’m super happy with how it turned out.
The whole production process was really smooth which was a nice change of pace compared to the metaphorical bloodbath the Bloodborne video was.
The Bloodborne video also got a bit of traction after about two hundred and three title and thumbnail changes so that is nice as well.
I already started working on the next video - which will be about a cute little game called Elden Ring you may have heard about.
I originally wanted to do Subnautica next, but From Software decided to screw with my carefully planned plan.
The Elden Ring DLC will release in June and because of this the interest in the game is currently a lot higher than usual.
So I thought it might be fun to discuss a game while it is still hot and trending instead of two decades later as a nice change of pace.
Producing a video on Elden Ring is probably going to take me a bit longer then the one on Wind Waker, simply because the game is so beefy and there is so sooo much to unpack - but I’ve already started working on it and I think it’s going to be an interesting one!
The Subnautica video will happen at some point in the future nonetheless.
I don’t really have much else to share this week, other than that I think all of you are awesome and hope that every single one of you wins the lottery this week!
There’s also some Patreon exclusive-ish content planned that I’m super excited about but I’ll share more about that once I actually start working on it.

Looking forward to your Elden Ring video but a question just raised in my mind: how do you feel about tackling the game before the DLC release? I believe this is a situation in which having a "futureproofed" video is much harder than some older releases.

I only played the game for the first time a few months ago, and I also thought the game was great. I do have another question: whatever happened to your video series on older wierd mario games? You made one on Mario's time machine and Mario's Fundamentals, but that was it. I would have loved to have seen a Ceave video on Hotel Mario, Mario is Missing, etc. Do you think you will maybe return to this concept in the future?
