The Mist: Chapter 4A

Wet.
She shook her head. Fuck, I need a new boyfriend, and then sat up, and blinked. She cupped her jugs with her hands and were they…
Bigger?
No. It was just the dream, because she was already a D-cup and it was a little late for a new growth spurt.
And her ass wasn’t any bigger, either, even if the clothing felt a little tight.
Monica walked into the shower and pulled off her clothes, including her damp panties. Turning the water on, she luxuriated under the hot spray, the needles of water playing over her body.
“Mmmm…” She cupped her tits, letting the water run down between the orbs, the valley channeling the flow onto her belly and pussy. “God, this feels good…”
Monica closed her eyes, letting her fingers trail over her wet skin, touching her broad nipples. She couldn’t remember the dream, but there had been men…she remembered the sensation of her nipples being pinched and tugged and teased… She moaned as she did the same, then cupped them, raising them up and legging them fall, the heavy orbs bouncing just a bit.
Monica shuddered, then dropped one hand down between her legs, running her fingers over her slit, flicking one finger over her stiff clit.
“Oh fuck…” she moaned, falling back against the shower. It was so… so fucking good! She needed to—
CRASH!
“Ahh!” Monica screamed and jumped in the shower at the sound outside. What the fuck? She got out, spending just a few minutes regretfully looking at the shower, before she dried off quickly and threw her bathrobe on.
She walked to the window and looked down at the parking lot. There wasn’t anything going on there, so maybe…
Then she blinked.
And swore.
A lot.
A tree had toppled, some water undermining it, and now, in addition to the tree, there was a new stream running down across the little road she’d used to get up to the place, and the cracks in the asphalt from the falling tree were rapidly expanding into deep crevices.
Holy shit. There’s no way I’m getting down past that.
Holy shit! How am I going to get to work?
She threw her clothes on and ran down to the lobby. A few other people were there, the college students she’d met, a pair of girls who were also going to college, an older guy, big, once muscled but starting to go to fat, black hair graying.
“Well, it’s a good thing everyone didn’t move in,” Tom said.
“What about us?” his girlfriend asked punching him in the shoulder.
“Perfect excuse!” Tom said.
Yeah, but what about for me? There was no way she could get the car around that, and it was three miles to the bus stop.
She pulled out her phone and called Jack. A few minutes later he was on the phone and she explained what had happened.
Jack swore. “That’s gonna be a problem.”
“Why? Just fix the road!”
“Yeah, about that…did I mention the building is a historical landmark? I can’t just grab a crew and have them start filling stuff in.”
“I need to be able to get to work!”
“I’ll have it done in a few days. Do you need to work in a few days?”
I’ve got a couple of days but… “Okay, but those days don’t count for rent.”
“Done!” Jack said. “Um, I think someone else is calling, I gotta go, and things will be fixed in the next couple of days. I promise!”
He hung up and Monica stared at the phone.
It was too good to be true. Of course. But at least I get some comped days and…
Staring at the road, Monica blinked. The sun was already up…
So why was the fallen tree partially covered by shifting tendrils of fog. She looked up and followed them into the dense forest surrounding the place.
And for a moment, it looked like someone was there…
Monica blinked, shook her head, and the vision was gone.
Then she shivered and turned to go back into the lobby.
