Life and stuff

(This post is merely informative about stuff going on in my life and future projects, you can skip if not interested)

Well, it's been 7 months since I opened this page, I'm a private person but I wanna open up a little and tell you about my current situation and future projects. 


MY LIFE RIGHT NOW

Well... I've been in my current job since the pandemic because it was the only thing available in my area in the middle of lockdown. I work full time, 6 days a week inside a cold chamber at a fresh food factory and use every little free time I have to draw and rest. Summertime is the busiest, working up to 10 hours some days, so I've been extra exhausted these months.

I never expected to reach my goal on Patreon so soon and I'm DYING to quit, but I'm an immigrant and such I need to update my spanish residence card this year, having a company contract makes things go smoother so I gotta hold on and be employed until the thing is done. My vacation start in November which means October 31th is literally the last day I'll have to work (officially) ... So I'm pretty stoked for Halloween for a very different reason 🎃


TRAVEL

I've been planning a holiday trip to my home country (🇨🇱) since 2019 and I'm finally doing it this year, I'll be gone by the end of November and come back around January 20. Since being connected to the internet 24/7 over there is not guaranteed I'll spend the entirety of November creating and leave art scheduled to post while I'm offline.

The giveaway is happening before November one way or another, it'll be available for Fire & Hellfire tiers. I want to have the goods ready to ship before posting the form to participate. The winners (yes, plural 👀) will get 1 mousepad and maybe something else 😉

SHOP

I'll finally have time to open a shop next year!!! I plan to make an interest check to see what people are interested in, I wanna sell 3D mouse pads, charms, standees, stickers and prints at first. I know I've mentioned bodypillows before but I'll probably add them later, I don't want to get too overwhelmed since I'm barely starting. I want to work with smaller amounts at first so in case I open a small preorder I'll let you know first. There's also the posibility of spicier merch with limited stock, I'll give you early access to that as well 😏 

STEDDIE ZINE 

I've had so many ideas for zines, once I start working on Patreon full time I'll finally dedicate time to them. I've always looked up to japanese doujinshi authors/circles and making one of my own is a small dream of mine 🥹 I wish to be able to make many and sell them digitally (and maybe physically later on 👀). Despite being sold separately I plan to post wips and sneak peaks here.

The first zine I have in mind is the one I started in December of last year (partially mentioned here) It's finally taking shape in my mind 💡, I got no idea how many pages it will be but I hope to have it fully colored (It will the death of me 💀). There's also a unfinished one about vamp Eddie and many others, I'm overflowing with ideas...

There's more stuff I wanted to mention but I'll leave them for another time. 

After leaving Art school I was kinda resigned to rot away on a shitty low wage job because being a freelancer constantly looking for a gig just wasn't for me... I knew it would kill my creativity so I would rather break my body and protect my passion, that's why I'm so fucking grateful for all the support you've given me. Never thought there would be enough people willing to pay me to just see me draw what I love 😭😭😭

With the rise of AI many artists are having a difficult time out there, so I'm feeling very fortunate and I'm praying this Patreon it's not a one hit wonder and maintains a steady income so I can live comfortably doing what I love while making merch and zines on the side.
