Its very hard to notice (I didn't put two and two together either) but the old man that Lelouch geassed in that one 10 sec scene was the one who designed his Zero costume. Lelouch is often compared to Light Yagami. The only difference between them is Lelouch doesn't enjoy being in control and has at least someone he's doing this for. Light is a narcassistic who takes pleasure in using his power to showcase himself as superior to everyone else. Changing for the benefit of the world and justice just became his justification and excuse for his actions that are clearly evil and self serving.
