Ember was right about the reselling of the phones and is why Jimmy paid and printed out the receipts to prove they were legal. It's frowned upon by governments when big stores who use fake street sellers to avoid taxes and regulations do it.

2020-05-27 16:09:51 +0000 UTCHaha totally didn't call why that first guy didn't get the job. 1) too confident, boasting that he could do it without any problems in 6-7 months with no blasting. Sounds too good to be true and would probably be a disaster. 2) Nonchalantly boasted about a prior criminal construction project he was part of. Shows a lack of discretion and means he may not be trustworthy. Gus probably doesn't want him saying 'I made an underground meth lab in just 6 months with no blasting!' to future clients.
