You were right, the guy who Jimmy hired (Sobchak -or Mr. X in this episode-, the actor is Steven Ogg) is the same one from Season 1's Pimento episode, where he got his ass kicked by Mike lol. And yeah, Max is Gus' close friend/associate/boyfriend (it's up to the viewers), and despite the fountain being in Mexico, both Gus and Max are from Chile. Btw, in this episode, Kuby (Huell's partner in Breaking Bad) was supposed to be the guy that Jimmy would hire, but the actor couldn't appear because unfortunately a loved one was dying so he had to decline. I loved seeing Steven Ogg again though, he's amazing.
