From the looks of it, Mayuri's fate was to die that night....and there's nothing that can be done to save her T.T No matter what Okabe does, she dies at the exact same time D: He's not giving up, though, so we'll see what he does next...

Re:zero & Steins;Gate has the same similarity in this episode where Subaru restart his life over & over again just to save Rem by death & Okabe time travel over & over again just to save Mayuri.. Do react to Tokyo Revengers if you love time travelling anime! The anime is inspired by both Re:zero & Steins;Gate.
