So it looks like Subaru passed the first trial, which isn't Emilia's case! She's quite shook every time she tries to face her past which makes us all wonder if she'll manage to do it at all D: And while we focus on a couple of characters that seem suspicious enough for us to worry, it seems we forgot about other potential threats o.o Welcome back Elsa!!

Don't feel bad about not understanding stuff in this show. It's a harder show to follow than most more recent anime, and it's the kinda show where you'll pick up something new everytime you watch it. The barrier normally forces prople to get lost in the woods never actually reaching the sanctuary. The villagers are there only because Ram brought them. Subaru and Otto came in with Emelia and that necklace so at the very least you need either a half blood or that necklace to be with you to make it through the barrier.
