What's the happening, Sqwarky?
Added 2021-08-24 23:02:36 +0000 UTCI scrapped this month's animation.
Admittedly I just wasn't feeling it, I wasn't liking the character, setting, and overall tone.
Basically, I was working on an animated commission for someone and due to the issues mentioned above I was not able to complete the animation.
I didn't want to half-ass an animation because that just isn't right to me. So, in an attempt to scramble together an animation I dived into the grind and started sketching out the character to speed-run an animation out.
However, I was beginning to to hear the warning signs that that was going to lead me back to my burnout and I didn't want to go down that route again so for now I've stopped again.
With that said - there will be no August animation, but I will be pausing Patreon's billing cycle for September.
Over September I will be working on the Akagi animation, and trying to make it really damn good. If you all liked the gatcha-birth elements I can bring it back, if not I can try something new.
No one will be charged anything extra.
For anyone who's a veteran patreon supporter you're probably used to this, but for anyone new please stand by! I will be posting the animation next month. It'll basically be like one big month. And again - you're not being charged extra!
Now onto the additional news:
I will be hopefully setting up a SubscribeStar account in the near future when they open up their "Per Creation" system. Or, alternately, I may just make a second Patreon just for my animations.
Also price changes will be done in September now as now I have more time to decide them and give everyone warning.
