The fight is on against Caster and we're very afraid of losing anyone from the good guys despite knowing it's got to happen at one point XD And after that heart-to-heart between Rider and his master, losing him is definitely a possibility D:

yes we had to wait. Not as bad as the code geass nonsense between R1 and R2, but it still sucked
