I think it would be fitting if Gene and Kim end up running a small gas station in the middle of Nebraska, and we see “Jimmy” taking pity on wayward travelers, taking money out of the resister to help out, while Kim sits in the back room doing the books, while chain smoking and looking at Jimmy with a sideways smile. Wolves and sheep. Just like the guy said. I’d be happy with that. Nobody wins, really.
