Update!! (I know it's long overdue 😅)

Hey guys!!

So, today is my birthday and I thought this was the perfect occasion for another update as this is the start of another year for me n.n I'm seeing it as a checkpoint 😅
Since my last message, I've had many appointments! My spleen is now twice it's normal size, which I've read can be because my liver was so bad last year (plus the cancer and the chemo can cause issues there) so my doctor is looking into this, even if no one is really worried 🤷 Even if I'm done with chemo, I still deal with a lot of fatigue and some issues with my appetite. Again, I've read that side effects from the chemo can last up to a year after the last treatment, so it's normal and I'm pushing myself everyday to get back on my feet!
I am tired of lying down and I want to get back to my normal routine, so I'm working towards that :D

I had a scan last week to see if the cancer was still gone and I'm getting the results this Monday, so I'm hoping for some good news, even if I'm prepared for the bad ones too (I'd rather brace myself, just in case, so I don't hit a wall if I have to go back to doing chemo)

I'm realizing now that my life will be a series of scans and uncertainties, but I tell myself that everyone is at risk of getting cancer and that doesn't stop them from going out and enjoying life, so it shouldn't stop me :)

So!! I'll try to uodate you guys again once I have my news! I'm also planning on doing a video to talk about this journey (especially the emotional side of it) and hopefully this video will mark the beginning of our comeback here :D We'll see what happens ;)
